ARTICLES
Blogs
In shortThis section is short, and that is a decision rather than an oversight. Rather than publish a large volume of thin articles for search engines, we put the detailed material on the pages where people actually need it — the treatment pages, the cost page and the thirty-two-question FAQ. This page tells you what has been written, where each subject lives, and what we are not going to publish.

The article
Best clinic in Istanbul?
There is no ranking body. The five things that can be checked before you pay — and our answer to each.
Hair transplant without shaving
When an unshaved procedure is realistic, what actually gets shaved, and the four situations where it is turned down.
After a hair transplant: what to do
The first ten days decide how much of the work survives. Day by day, plus why month three looks worse.
Densification when you are not bald
Grafts placed between hair you still have — and the question that decides whether it ages well.
Hair loss in pregnancy and after birth
Why postpartum shedding usually recovers on its own, and why it is not a reason for surgery.
Exercise and hair loss
Training is not the cause. What actually contributes, and when you can train again after a transplant.
From past to present: hair transplant techniques
How the field moved from strip harvesting to FUE, and what changed with the sapphire blade and the implanter pen.
It is worth reading before you compare providers, because a good deal of the marketing in this field is built on technique names that describe the same underlying procedure.
Where the detail is
The subjects a blog would normally cover, and where they actually are
If you arrived here looking for one of the following, it is not missing — it is on a page of its own, in more depth than an article would give it.
| Subject | Where it is answered |
|---|---|
| How the procedure works, step by step | Hair transplant |
| Sapphire FUE versus DHI | Treatments, with a side-by-side table |
| What it costs and what changes the price | Cost |
| Why Turkey, and what to check first | Hair transplant in Turkey |
| Hair loss in women | Women’s hair transplant |
| Recovery, shedding and the growth timeline | FAQ, group by group |
| Beard, moustache and eyebrows | Beard · Eyebrow |
| Whether mesotherapy can replace surgery | Hair mesotherapy |
Short answers
Eight things people ask before they read anything else
These come up in almost every first conversation. One line each; the full answers are on the pages linked above.
- Will it look obvious? The hairline design decides that, not the technique. Single-hair grafts at the front, multi-hair behind — that is what makes an edge look natural.
- Does transplanted hair fall out? The shafts shed in weeks 2–8. That is expected. The follicles stay and start growing again around months 3–4.
- When will I see the result? Density builds through months 6–9; the final result is at 12–18 months. Judging it earlier is judging it too early.
- Will I need a second session? Sometimes, and an honest plan says so at the start rather than afterwards. It depends on the area and on your donor capacity.
- Does it hurt? The procedure is done under local anaesthetic. The part people report as uncomfortable is the anaesthetic injection itself, not the six to eight hours after it.
- Can I go back to work? Desk work in 2–3 days. Anything that means sweating, sun or a helmet waits longer; the written aftercare gives the dates.
- Does the donor area run out? It is finite and it is spent once. That is the real reason a graft count should not be inflated to win a booking.
- Is a cheaper quote a worse operation? Not necessarily — but ask what is inside it. The difference between quotes is usually the package, not the surgery, and an itemised quotation settles the question.
What we will not publish
Why this section is not longer
It would be straightforward to fill this section with forty articles. Every competitor has them, they help with search rankings, and nobody would check them. We are not going to, for three reasons that are worth stating plainly.
- Volume written for search engines is not information. An article that restates the treatment page in different words wastes the time of the person reading it.
- We will not invent patient stories. A blog in this field is usually where invented case studies live. There are none here, and there will not be.
- We will not publish statistics we cannot source. Success rates, satisfaction percentages and “X% of patients” figures appear constantly in this industry with nothing behind them.
When there is something genuinely worth writing — a change in technique, a correction to something we published, a question that keeps coming up and has no good answer anywhere — it will appear here. Until then, this page points you at what exists.

Frequently asked questions
Why do you have so few articles?
Because we put the detail on the pages where it is needed — the treatment pages, the cost page and the thirty-two-question FAQ — rather than restating it in article form. Volume written for search engines is not information.
Who writes the content on this site?
Istanbul Hair Center writes it, checked against clinical sources and against what our clinic actually does. Where the honest answer is “your physician decides”, the text says that rather than guessing.
Do you publish patient case studies?
No. Invented case studies are common in this field and we will not add to them. What we publish instead are the numbers that can be stated plainly: graft ranges, session length, the recovery timeline.
Where do I find the recovery timeline?
On the treatments page as a table, and in more detail in the recovery group of the FAQ. In summary: shedding weeks 2–8, new growth months 3–4, density months 6–9, final result 12–18 months.
Where is the comparison between Sapphire FUE and DHI?
On the treatments page, as a side-by-side table. The short version: they differ in how the grafts go back in, not in the density or the time to a final result.
Do you write about hair loss medication?
Only where it bears on the decision — for example that transplanting into loss that is still progressing quickly, with the cause not established, produces a result that looks wrong later. Prescribing decisions belong to a physician, not to a website.
Can I ask a question that is not answered anywhere on the site?
Yes. Use the contact page or the assessment form. Questions that keep coming back are how this section grows.
Is the article on this page kept up to date?
It covers the history of the techniques, which does not change quickly. Where anything on this site is corrected, the correction replaces the original rather than sitting beside it.
