What has changed here
The most useful news we have is about what this site now publishes, because each item is something you can verify rather than something you have to take on trust.
- Both certificates are published in full. The health tourism authorisation AK-0604 and the travel agency licence 14296 are readable on the documents page, with an explanation of what each covers and what it does not.
- The site is published in ten languages. Each language is written rather than machine-translated, and the same facts appear in all of them.
- The division of responsibility is stated on every page. The clinic and the operating surgeon are named in your written quotation. That sentence used to be missing from several pages, including our own team page, which contradicted it outright until it was corrected.
- The founding year was corrected across the site. Several pages had carried a later date, and one section stated the length of experience as a round number of years that had gone stale where it stood. The company opened in 1999, and every language now says so in that form — a date rather than a countdown, so it cannot go out of date again.

What you will not find in this section
News pages in this industry tend to fill up with the same four things. None of them are here, and each absence is deliberate.
- No awards or rankings. There is no ranking body in this field whose result we could cite honestly.
- No milestone announcements we cannot evidence. The two figures on this page — 1999 and 35,000+ — are the ones we stand behind.
- No patient outcome stories. Turkish health advertising regulation does not permit them for our activity, and inventing them is worse than omitting them.
- No press releases written to look like journalism. If we announce something, it will say who is announcing it.

Frequently asked questions
Does press coverage mean the clinic is better?
No. A press mention means a journalist wrote about the subject. What you should check instead is the health tourism authorisation number, the name of the clinic where the operation takes place, and the name of the operating surgeon — all three in writing before you book.
How long has Istanbul Hair Center been operating?
Since 1999. More than 35,000 hair transplant procedures have been coordinated since then.
Why are there no award badges on this site?
Because there is no ranking body in this field whose result we could cite honestly, and a badge nobody can verify is decoration. The two documents we do hold are published in full on the documents page.
Do you publish patient results or testimonials in this section?
No. Turkish health advertising regulation does not permit publishing treatment-outcome material for our type of activity, and that rule applies to every provider operating in Turkey.
