Who we are
Turkey’s first hair transplant centre
Istanbul Hair Center opened in 1999. At that point hair transplantation in Turkey was not yet an industry. The volume that made the country the centre of this field came later, through the 2000s and 2010s. We were here before that happened, and more than 35,000 procedures have been carried out since.
Our consultation office is at Esentepe Mah. Keskin Kalem Sok. No: 27/8, Şişli / İstanbul, Türkiye, and our clinics are in Istanbul. The registered company is İST Cerrahi Danışmanlık Reklam Hizmetleri Tic. Ltd. Şti., trading as İstanbul Hair Center Turizm.

Photographs and history
Four photographs and your basic medical history reach our clinic for assessment. Nothing is booked at this stage.

02Before booking
Written quotation
You receive the plan, the estimated graft count, the technique, the name of the facility and the name of the physician. In writing, itemised, before any payment.

03Travel
Transfers and accommodation
Airport transfer, hotel and city transfers. Which hotel and which transfer class depends on the package you chose.

04Days 1–3
Interpreting and accompaniment
Someone who speaks your language is with you at the examination and on the operation day. This is our job, not the hospital’s.

05Months 1–12
Follow-up coordination
Four scheduled follow-ups by photograph. If something concerns you between them, you contact us and we take it to the facility.
What is missing here
What we deliberately do not publish
This site is thinner than a competitor’s in four specific places, and each absence is a decision rather than an oversight. If you are comparing providers, these are worth understanding, because you will find all four elsewhere.
- No success rate and no satisfaction percentage. We have no audited figure to publish. A percentage nobody can trace to a method is decoration.
- No superiority claims. This page previously carried two of them, of the “finest centre in Turkey” variety. They have been removed, because there is no ranking body behind a sentence like that.
- No before-and-after photographs on our Turkish pages. Turkish health advertising regulation does not permit them for our activity. Rather than publish them in one language and not another, we point you at what can be verified instead.
- No invented biographies. Our team page says who does what and explicitly lists what we are not publishing about the physicians, and why.

Why two certificates?
They cover two different sides of what we do. The Ministry of Health authorisation covers the international health tourism activity; the Group A travel agency licence covers the travel side. Transfers, accommodation and the organisation of the trip. Both numbers are published on the documents page.
How do I know which hospital I will be treated in?
It is named in your written quotation, along with the physician, before you book. If you would like to see the environment first, there are photographs on the photo gallery page and a description on the clinics page.
Do you publish patient success rates?
No. We have no audited figure to publish, and an unsourced percentage is not information. What we do publish is the timeline, the graft numbers and the limits of what the procedure can do.
Why are there no before-and-after photographs on the Turkish pages?
Turkish health advertising regulation does not permit publishing treatment-outcome images for our type of activity. That rule applies to every provider operating in Turkey, whatever their site shows you.
Who do I complain to if something goes wrong?
Us. The same coordination team that arranged your treatment, in your own language. Follow-ups are scheduled at months 1, 3, 6 and 12, and anything between them reaches your surgeon the same day. The clinic and the surgeon are both named in your quotation from the start.
