What does a hair transplant in Istanbul cost?
Our packages run €2,000 – €3,000. That single range covers all three packages, because we do not price the operation by graft count.
Most clinics in this market quote per graft. We do not, and it is worth understanding why: a per-graft figure looks precise but tells you almost nothing about what you actually receive. Two quotes at the same rate per graft can differ by a thousand euros once the hotel, the transfers, the coordination and the follow-up are counted. Pricing the package makes the comparison honest.
What sets your price
The technique
Sapphire FUE and DHI place the grafts differently and take different amounts of time and team. DHI is slower per graft, which is reflected in the package.
The stay
Three nights are included. The standard of the hotel differs between the packages; the VIP package uses a five-star hotel.
Transfers and VIP services
Airport pickup and transfers are included in every package. The VIP package adds a private welcome and transfer, and a personal coordinator throughout.
How much we coordinate
Language support, appointment planning, the aftercare kit and the follow-up schedule are all part of the package rather than extras billed later.

Why the figure is lower than in Western Europe
The difference is not a difference in materials or in the technique. Punches, implanter pens and sapphire blades cost the same wherever they are bought.
- Staff and facility costs in Turkey are structurally lower than in Germany, the Netherlands or the UK.
- Istanbul clinics run high volumes of this one procedure, and specialisation lowers the cost per case.
- Prices are set in euros against local costs, so the exchange rate works in your favour.
- Travel, accommodation and coordination are bundled, which removes the margin each separate supplier would add.
Be careful with very low quotes
Offers well below this range exist. Before you accept one, check four things — they are the questions that separate a clinic from a booking desk:
- Does the organisation hold a health tourism authorisation certificate? Ours is AK-0604, issued by the Turkish Ministry of Health.
- Where will the operation take place, and is that facility itself licensed?
- Who performs it — a physician, and is that stated in writing?
