In shortIstanbul Hair Center opened in 1999 as Turkey’s first hair transplant centre. Since then more than 35,000 hair transplant procedures have been coordinated. We are a hair transplant clinic in Istanbul — authorisation AK-0604, Turkish Ministry of Health — not a hospital: we coordinate, and our surgeons treat. This page is the longer account of how that works and what the company will and will not say about itself.

The beginning
Opened in 1999, before this was an industry
Istanbul Hair Center opened in 1999 as Turkey’s first hair transplant centre. At that point the volume that later made this country the centre of the field did not exist; it built through the 2000s and 2010s. Being early is a matter of record rather than of opinion, and it is the only claim on this page about us rather than about the work.
The company behind the brand is İST Cerrahi Danışmanlık Reklam Hizmetleri Tic. Ltd. Şti., trading as İstanbul Hair Center Turizm, with its consultation office at Esentepe Mah. Keskin Kalem Sok. No: 27/8, Şişli / İstanbul, Türkiye.
The correction
What this page no longer says
This page used to describe the company as having grown into one of the finest hair transplant clinics in Turkey, under a heading making the same claim. Both have been removed, for two separate reasons.
- It was a ranking claim with no ranking behind it. There is no body in this field whose assessment we could cite.
- It named no numbers. The old text claimed volume without a single figure anyone could check. This one carries the authorisation number, the graft ranges, the recovery timeline and the price band.
The same page also implied a wider range of treatment than we coordinate. We handle hair restoration and nothing else.

Hair transplant
Sapphire FUE or DHI, into a thinning or bald area of the scalp.
Eyebrow transplant
Single-hair grafts placed at a very flat angle.
Beard and moustache
Filling gaps, scars or a patchy line.
Hair mesotherapy
Injections supporting hair you still have. Not surgery.
Alongside those, two situations have pages of their own because the assessment genuinely differs: hair loss in women, where reversible causes are excluded before a transplant is considered, and coming to Turkey for treatment, which is as much a verification question as a medical one.

What 35,000 procedures does and does not tell you
Volume is the figure this industry quotes most, so it is worth being precise about what it means. It tells you that the process around a hair transplant — assessment, scheduling, travel, interpreting, follow-up — has been run many times and is not being improvised for you. It does not tell you what your result will be, because that depends on your donor area, your pattern of loss and the plan drawn for your face.
It is also the reason we publish no success rate beside it. We have no audited figure, and a percentage with no method behind it adds nothing to a number that is already verifiable.

Neither. We are a hair transplant clinic in Istanbul holding authorisation AK-0604 from the Turkish Ministry of Health. We own no hospital, employ no physicians and perform no procedures. Treatments are carried out by our surgeons.

Do you publish a success rate?
No. We have no audited figure to publish, and an unsourced percentage is not information. What we publish are figures that can be checked: the founding year, the number of procedures coordinated, the graft ranges and the recovery timeline.
Where is your office?
Esentepe Mah. Keskin Kalem Sok. No: 27/8, Şişli / İstanbul, Türkiye. It is a consultation and coordination office; no treatment takes place there.
Do you work with patients from outside Turkey?
That is essentially all of the work. Travel, accommodation, transfers and interpreting are coordinated under our Group A travel agency licence, 14296, alongside the health tourism authorisation.
How do I verify what is on this page?
